Tenor High G – GCEA Tuning

The Aquila 10U set is designed for Tenor sized ukuleles and tuned to standard High G tuning.

Also known as re-entrant tuning, High G tuning is the standard ukulele tuning most players are familiar with and is how most ukuleles come strung from the factory with a high 4th G string providing that happy sound one expects from this cheerful little instrument.

Please Note – Just like gut, the New Nylgut is liable to suffer from cutting edges. Before stringing your instrument, please make sure the nut and bridge are free from sharp edges and the nut grooves are not too deep and perfectly smooth. You can get rid of sharp edges with very fine grit sandpaper (600, for example) or the finest steelwool (000).
