Aquila’s new 3CH Ronroco string packs now come in traditional Argentinian tuning.

Featuring 10 strings in 5 pairs with octaves on the 3rd pair, these strings are tuned to BB ,EE ,BB’, GG, DD the same tuning as used by Gustavo Santaolalla.

Aquila’s unique brand of Nylgut strings have been specifically developed to provide the superior sound qualities of gut strings, combined with the strength, durability and stability of a synthetic product.

Low cost combined with Nylgut’s excellent sound capabilities and stability of intonation under moisture changes, makes Aquila an excellent choice for your Ronroco.

Suitable for scale lengths of 42 to 43 cm

Important – Just like gut, New Nylgut is liable to suffer from cutting edges. Before stringing your instrument, please make sure the nut and bridge are free from sharp edges and the nut grooves are not too deep and perfectly smooth. You can get rid of sharp edges with very fine grit sandpaper (600, for example) or the finest steelwool (000).
