The exclusive new TunaUke technology from Lanikai allows any uke player to intonate their ukulele through individual movable wedge saddles and a compensated nut specifically designed for each model size.
This easy to use technology requires no tools and improves intonation across the whole fretboard by over 90%
Based on the LU-11, one of Lanikai’s most popular and best selling ukuleles, the LUTU-11S offers a huge improvement in tone and playability and comes equiped with diecast tuners for improved tuning stability and a wide spaced 37mm Lanikai compensated TunaUke nut, which drastically improves intonation and mimics the tonal response of natural bone.
The TunaUke saddle housing mounts directly to the top of the instrument which increases overall projection providing a full spectrum of lows, mids and highs. Two sets of saddles are provided (low and high) to allow you to adjust your string height to it’s most comfortable level. The newly designed 8 hole bridge allows for quicker string changes and can also be used in the traditional classical string tie.

Please Note : The Aquila strings provided with these instruments are excellent quality and as with all new strings will require plenty of stretching and ‘playing in’ to achieve their stability. Once the Aquila’s have been adequately ‘played in’ and begin to settle down, your ukulele’s tuning will stabilise and the Aquila strings will bring out the best in your instrument.
