TREBLES: Savarez came up with a solution to a problem which nobody had solved before: how to give guitarists the means to play in tune and to choose the ideal tension for strings and guitar to give of their best.

Now, “New Cristal” nylon represents the culmination of the technological progress of these traditional strings. The surface texture of rectified nylon limits finger slipping and improves the control of finger placing for greater playing comfort.

BASSES: These basses have always been our best sellers, and are the fruit of thorough research into raw materials and manufacturing techniques. This research has been carried out in collaboration with musicians in search of new sonic horizons.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

These strings have been classified as “High Tension” by some string sellers and “Normal Tension” by others. This is because the string packaging on these 520R packs states these strings are “High Tension”, however the Savarez website shows conflicting information, stating these strings are “Normal Tension”.

Comparing the gauges in this pack against other well known rectified Nylon and Silver Plated Copper Classical guitar strings, the gauges in this Savarez “Red Card” pack are similar to other Normal Tension sets such as the D’Addario EJ45’s and have a similar overall tension. For this reason we have chosen to opt for Savarez’ website description and class these strings as Normal Tension.
