Sharing the same sound and mechanical properties as their Super Nylgut brand, Aquila’s Lava range have been created as a mark of respect to the Hawaiian people who have given the world one of it’s most famous and beloved instruments and been fundamental in spreading the joy, happiness and wonderful sounds of the ukulele across the globe.

Inspired by the volcanic rocks of the Hawaiian islands, Lava series strings are grey-black in colour with a touch of mother of pearl.
