Aquila Thunder Reds Strings – 168U

New Formula Aquila Thunder Reds for Improved Performance.

Aquila Thunder Reds Bass Ukulele strings are constructed using three different types of synthetic elastomer.

In strings 3 and 4 of the Thunder Reds set, the density of the elastomeric material is increased by adding micronized metal copper powder during the extrusion phase.

This advanced technological solution allows the string to operate at the same working tension whilst allowing for smaller diameters and greater volume and sustain than any type of polyurethane and silicone rubber string on the market.

Thunder Red strings ensure fast and stable intonation for your UBass while the properties of the metallic powder included in composition help to provide a beautiful feel with a slipperiness that helps glide the fingers across the strings.

The Aquila Thunder Reds 168U set is for 4 string bass ukuleles of 23 to 26″ scales.
