The world’s first eco friendly synthetic string. Fashioned from Aquila’s patented Bionylon monofilament, a material constructed of 63% plant derivative that boasts excellent acoustic and mechanical properties.

The unique genetic makeup of Bionylon allows a massive reduction in the level of carbon dioxide emissions created during the construction process in relation to the synthesis of other Nylon based materials in other strings.

This Perla set contains 3 Bionylon strings for the trebles along with 3 wound bass strings fashioned from high quality silverplated copper wound around a New Nylgut multifilament core, ensuring low moisture absorption properties and a high resistance to tensile stress.
