Working in conjunction with the famous Gallistrings who have been manufacturing the finest Italian strings since 1890, Kala have teamed up with Galli to create one of the most authentic double bass style strings sets for the Kala UBass ever produced.

Featuring Chrome steel wrapped around a nylon core, these high end Flatwound U-BASS strings by Gallistrings enable fast and stable intonation, bringing a warmth and consistency to your U-BASS like never before.

Including 4 High Tension U-BASS strings, the KA-BASS-4FW set offers a timbre and manoeuvrability akin to the double bass. Smooth to the touch, the chrome flatwound tape allows fingers to glide around the fretboard and helps protect the neck from wear and tear.

The Kala Flatwound Bass Ukulele String Set for 4 String U-BASS by Gallistrings are perfect for any acoustic fretted or fretless U-BASS.

IMPORTANT : Please Read the notes below before purchasing this string set for your Kala U-BASS or consult an experienced instrument technician to check if these strings are appropriate for your bass ukulele.

Please Note:
These strings are only compatible with Acoustic-Electric U-BASS instruments.
NOT to be used on Solid Body U-BASS
Modifications to the nut slots and string holes by an experienced instrument technician may be required.
Due to the change to a higher tension as well, a truss rod adjustment is also recommended.
As a streamlined alternative to modifications to the existing nut, the Flat Wound U-BASS Nut by TUSQ can be used and should be installed by an experienced instrument technician only.
Modifications to U-BASS performed by the user will void the manufacturer warranty.
Please also note that Kala and Original Artisan will not be responsible for damage to instruments caused by new string installments.
